The construction of Meilun Pharmaceutical Group's drug source base has begun to take shape. After scientific planning, detailed on-site inspections, and meticulous construction, Meilun Pharmaceutical Group has established six drug source bases in China, widely distributed in provinces such as Hebei, Shandong, Yunnan, Ningxia, Tibet, and Jilin. Now, the mysterious snow covered plateau, the vast foot of Paektu Mountain, the beautiful coast of the Bohai Sea, and the foot of the Great Wall are all delivering a large amount of high-quality and pure medicine for us.
One of Meilun Chinese herbal medicine source bases, Qinglong Pharmaceutical Source Base is located at the foot of the Great Wall at the southern foot of Yanshan Mountain in the north of Qinhuangdao, Qinglong Manchu Autonomous County. Qinglong County is one of the places of concentration of wild Chinese medicine in North China, known as "eight mountains, one water, one field", and the best place to develop and plant Chinese medicine. The soil is neither polluted nor toxic. Here, with winding mountains, clear springs and white rocks, lush forests, and beautiful scenery, it is a well-known "natural medicine depot". In 2002, Tianjin Meilun Pharmaceutical reached an agreement with the People's Government of Qinglong County to establish a 3000 acre traditional Chinese medicine planting base mainly for planting Banlan root, Chaihu, Huangqin, and Danshen. A large amount of scientific research funds and manpower were invested to ensure the quality of the "first workshop" for drug production and maintain the "first pass" of quality assurance.
The construction of Meilun Pharmaceutical Group's drug source base is a beneficial attempt to modernize and internationalize traditional Chinese medicine, greatly demonstrating the scientific nature of drug research and production, laying a quality foundation for Meilun Pharmaceutical to enter the pharmaceutical market of developed Western countries first, providing valuable experience for the standardization, localization, and industrialization of traditional Chinese medicine production in China, and paving a sustainable development path of resource driven production.
