I need to see a doctor for the five major foot problems

Author:

On January 13th, the "Health Day" website in the United States published an article by experts from the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery, reminding everyone that many people do not want to see a doctor for foot problems, but the following five situations cannot be ignored:
Heel pain. Heel pain is often caused by soft tissue inflammation, and may also be caused by factors such as fractures, Achilles tendon shortening, or nerve compression.
Ankle joint sprain. Ankle sprains usually require treatment, and if not treated in a timely manner, it can increase the risk of recurrent ankle sprains and chronic ankle instability.
Stiffness and pain in the big toe. Usually, as the cartilage on the toes wears away, the condition gradually progresses and there is a possibility of developing into arthritis. So once diagnosed, treatment should be given as soon as possible.
Heel tendinitis. Inflammation of the Achilles tendon can cause pain in the ankle and heel, and there is a tenderness when touching the Achilles tendon with your hand. Achilles tendinitis is usually caused by a sudden increase in activity, and if not treated in a timely manner, there may be a risk of Achilles tendon rupture.
Ingrown armor. Embedded nails may penetrate the skin beneath the nail bed, allowing bacteria to enter the body and cause infection. People with ingrown nails should avoid handling them at home, as incomplete disinfection can lead to bacteria entering the bloodstream, and in severe cases, there is a risk of amputation, even endangering life. Nail ingrowth should be treated promptly at the hospital, and can be cured with just a simple surgery.
